Brighton Retirement Living, conveniently nuzzled along Main Street and close to many familiar amenities, will be opening their doors to Northumberland County very soon.

Brighton Retirement Living (BRL) was a vision of long time local resident, Phil Mycyk. His mission, to build a retirement residence for his neighbours, is now a reality. The BRL team is proud to be a part of this vision and have Phil’s legacy continue. 

BRL will showcase 124 Independent and Assisted Living Suites. Each suite was designed with today’s older adult in mind — en-suite laundry, quartz countertops, balcony space, suite safety features and much more. Accomodation choices include a variety of studios, one bedroom, one bed plus den, and two-bedroom suites.

At BRL, you will be able to  enjoy the comforts of your suite or join your friends and family at one of the beautifully appointed amenity areas. With a large percent of the community’s space dedicated to these amenities, you are sure to find new and interesting activities to enjoy: make new memories in the Pub, Fitness Studio, Hair Salon, Outdoor Gardens, Theatre, Dining, Hobby and Games Rooms or take a well-deserved moment of silence in our Library and Chapel.

Brighton Active Living will also be joining BRL in the very near future, offering Northumberland County Older Adults with the option of fully equipped apartment units. A variety of unit types will be underway soon.
